What informal workers told us.

Work, wages, debt, health and social protection among informal workers in Sukhasan and Chitoriya panchayats. The report sets these workers' answers against the Census, NFHS-5, AIDIS and PLFS, and tests with regression which differences survive adjustment.

The sample is purposive, not random, so the findings describe these workers and are not estimates for the whole district. Associations reported are not proof of cause.
